The HeroInMe Ride starts at the Performance Bicycle shop in WestRidge Plaza (Rte. 59 and Aurora Avenue). Naperville police will escort the riders from the shop, south along Fort Hill Drive, to 75th street.

Riders pedaling the 48-mile route will turn right onto the side path along 75th Street for a 15-mile loop through Aurora. Pit-stop 1 is at the Wheatlands Park Shelter.

Riders pedaling the 15 and 32-mile loops will veer right off of 75th Street into the Springbrook Nature Preserve. Pit-stop 1 (Pit-stop 2 for the 48-mile riders) is at the DuPage County Sports Complex. From here:

  • Those riding 15 miles then back-track a few hundred feet and continue along the DuPage River Trail.
  • Those pedaling 32 miles will continue on to cross Washington Street and ride along the East Branch of the DuPage River Trail.

Pit-stop 2 (Pit-stop 3 for the 48-mile riders) is at the Green Valley Forest Preserve Shelter just south of Hobson Road.
