Be a hero! oin 300 heroic riders in DuPage County, Illinois and thousands of others across the country on Sunday, June 6, 2021 to support those recovering from opioid and other substance addictions.
With the Coronavirus outbreak, compromised immune systems make those with the disease of addiction more vulnerable to COVID-19 disease.
According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, “people with opioid use disorder (OUD) and methamphetamine use disorder may also be vulnerable due to those drugs’ effects on respiratory and pulmonary health.”
That makes Pedal4Life’s mission even more critical: to keep the bodies of those in recovery healthy!
That’s why Pedal4Life has again modified this year’s HeroInMe Ride: We’re holding a social distance virtual ride!
What Does The Social Distance Cycling Look Like? On Sunday, June 6th, we will meet you at 8 a.m. (Central Time), via Zoom conferencing for our annual Opening Ceremony session. Then we’ll all get out and pedal a 20, 32, or 48-mile route of our choice!
Win prizes for best costume, photo, video, and logged training miles!
What’s special about social distance cycling? You can now pedal the HeroInMe Ride with friends, family members and co-workers across the country! Register here! What an opportunity for everyone to make a heroic difference in the fight against addiction while keeping one another safe from the virus!
Tap into your inner hero without tapping your wallet. We’re keeping the registration fee to just $5.
